ABOUT THE ARTIST Gale Littleton was born in Atlanta, Georgia. She has always had a great admiration for the beauty of all God's wonderful creation. Although raised in the city, she spent her weekends in the country, where her Grandparents lived. That is where she first began to appreciate the wonder of God's beautiful handiwork: babbling brooks, singing birds, rolling hills, whimsical clouds against a blissful blue sky. Her memories also include her Grandparents' picturesque home place, a weathered barn and other out buildings. As a young child, Gale remembers her parents owning a little neighborhood grocery store. Her mother often tells of how Gale, as a little girl, would beg for a piece of meat wrapping paper to use for drawing pictures. She said that Gale spent most of her time sketching. It was noticeable at a very young age God had given her a talent in art, for which her parents were very thankful. Gale, at the age of 13, was introduced to Jesus Christ. He knocked at her heart's door and she invited him into her heart, a new life to begin. Later, she married and was blessed with 3 wonderful children. As a busy young mother, she had little time for the talent that God had given her. Several years later, desiring to send her children to a Christian school, she began to paint and sell her work at local arts and crafts shows to help pay for their tuitions. This began her career as an artist. She and her husband, Jimmy, now travel and exhibit her work in numerous shows. Her paintings and prints can be found in homes and businesses all over the United States and in many other countries. Gale is very thankful for her husband, who helps her, her parents, who encouraged her, her children and grandchildren who inspire her and most of all GOD who loves her enough to give his only son to die on an old rugged cross for her and all who will receive Him as their savior too. You see, Jesus left the glory of heaven to come and be born of a virgin mother; to live and die for the sins of the whole world. He was buried and 3 days later, He arose and is now sitting on the right hand of the Father, praying and interceding for you and me. (John 3:16-21) Because of her love for Jesus, Gale tries hard to portray Him in some way in all of her pictures. In every picture, you will find a Bible Scripture, a small cross and Jesus' name. Also in the pictures that have a poem attached you will find the image of Jesus in spirit form. The Lord gave the words to the poem to Gale awhile back. Her desire is to give all glory to GOD for everything. She realizes that without Him, she is nothing, and can do nothing. (John 15) Gale and Jimmy desire your prayers as they endeavor to do GOD'S will through their work and ministry. May God bless you always, and in all ways. If you ever need prayer, please feel free to call us at any time. Jimmy and Gale Littleton 770-833-3255
